I installed an 8 circuit Rebel wire harness using an aftermarket Chieftain Turn signal device that mounts on the steering column. I was able to get the wires hooked up via a Chieftain wire schematic that I found on the internet as well as tech help from Rebel. The only thing I discovered yesterday is the idiot light or blinker so to speak, doesn't turn off after the car is turned off. It stays on all the time. There is a navy blue wire that controls that bulb that I had wired to the brown hazzarad wire on the harness. It seems like the brown hazzard wire was the only one with power so I used it. I tried the purple wire that is recommended, but the system didn't work at all. Any suggerstions on which wire I should connect the blue one from the turn signal device so that it goes off after I turn off the ignition switch. Thanks.
