Thanks to the Punk Rods for their usual hospitality and dedication. Great job on the Old School section. Cool handmade awards and great music. Way to do an indoor show.
Hi there, TravisfromKansas, Thanks for the great pixs on the Kansas City Show. I went to that show back in 2005, last when I was living in the Kansas City area.. See you at Salina again in July...Hang in there...duane (NM Sandrail)
Loopy? That must be how you take all of those killer pics.....Thanks for posting them I need to go back to Kansas City some day, look like I missed a good show. Happy Trails, Mick
Saw that - I think it's a 60 and it had a tunnel ram, dual quads, and bare race interior. Pretty cool.
Thats my old falcon that I sold to a friend and recently finished for this show, It runs a 427 chevy, turbo 400, and a nine inch with a 4.56 gear. Mike plans on taking it to the HAMB drags this year. If you need any more info just pm me.
Very cool ride! You're too kind as always! It is a fun show, there are quite a few cars there that I didn't bother looking at, I'm not much of a Donk fan, but this year's show took up the entire building with much more room devoted to the rides that I wanted to look at. I'll look for ya next week at the Tulsa Starbird show! Travis
I thought it was a better show than last year. Was cool to see the "Chigger" '55 Chevy D-G***er again. I remember that car from when I was a kid; it was the NRCA (Starbird's) National Compe***ion Champion one year. Seemed to disappear for about 30 years, and now it's back around.
Does anyone know if the guy (or girl) who owns that flat black 34 Fordor is a hamber? Thats my dad's old car (kind of...).
Speed King-Thanks for the compliment. All us Punk Rods get very involved in trying to make the blah of winter something special with our part of hosting World of Wheels in the Ol' Skool Rodz section each year. Thanks to all that supported our section and didn't let the ****ty weather keep them and their rides at home this year. Driving a "g***er" home with slicks in the snow sure was a fun adventure!
