tan/cream color cars pic request

please share your pics of your rides, interiors and engine bays. Trucks, cars what have you. Trying to get some ideas on 2nd colors for the engine and wheels. Planning on painting my 54 chevy truck a cream white/tan color with brown or a dark red interior. Original wood bed, wood wheel. Having a serious brain freeze on color combos. Not such a fan of straight chrome wheels. Please share.

I did a deuce highboy in French Vanilla Cream with a black top and interior. I thought it was one of the sharpest cars I had ever built but dam near died with it because of the color. But in the early 80's I did a deuce 2 door in a similar color with a marron interior and sold it immediatlely when I listed it. Go Figure?

I can sympathize with you. 30 years ago I went through hell trying to find a paint code that matched what was in my head. This is a gallon of Corvette buckskin and gallon of mis-mixed brown. My buddy called it Turkey turd tan. It actually came pretty close to what I wanted. I wanted beige or tan and kept getting F'in yellow.

 

krylon do you have any pics. Love black interiors. Thought about doing a black and maroon interior on a cream color too

I like that I am thinking of some colors for my 54 chevy AD and tans,browns, golds are on my mind , thats a beautiful truck !!!!

 

Here's a few light creamy beige cars that have inspired me and dad to paint his 49 Chevy coupe project 2002 VW Beetle Harvest Moon Beige and 1998 Lexus Renaissance Red. Some of these look too white in the pics but trust me, I've seen all in person and they are simply georgous!

Just O/T, but this was my old '67 Dodge Polara wagon, in factory Tan.

 

a couple of our 37 coupe ,VW harvest moon beige on top and a Gold from the Glasurit range.

This truck's been done for a number of years now, but I think it's that Corvette "Buckskin" color from the mid-eighties or so. The red "Pierson" scallops were added recently to cover all the stone chips from drivin'!

This is a 1935 ford color called "cream"
The engine bay was mixed tinted a lighter color by mixing in some white.

 

Engine: Stock flat 6, dual exhaust, offy intake, head shaved 70 thousanths, hei ignition, 5 speed
