Welcome to the insanity. Yeah, customs or muscle cars can be interesting, but street rods are where it's at....for me. But anything on topic is cool. We NEED photos and words about the 54. And, the very best good fortune on your Wyotech adventure. Let us know how that goes too.

not at my home computer but will get some photos of the ford up but here is a little background on the ford. I got it my freshman year of high school. i was looking for a 50's car for while and keep seeing this one everyday on the way to school looked ruff and the guy wanted a little more than i thought it was worth. and after a couple months passed the price keep getting lower so i decided to stop and ask the guy about it didnt have a motor or trans. the body didnt look to bad for the age. the guy told me it was used as a drag car in the 80's which explained all the drag stickers on the door panels. we talked for a bit and agreed on a price and i picked it up that weekend. the plan was just to put another motor and trans in it and get it running but after thinking about it and cleaning up the body alittle found alot of bondo and bad body work. and i always wanted a custom car so that was the plan now only being 15 at the time didnt have the skills to perform a chop but was use to body work cuz i was working in a body shop at the time. but thought i could do the chop after some research so i went and bought a welder and sawzall and after looking at everything i could find on chopping a top decided to give it a try. after chopping the car and welding the roof back on the cheap o welder i bought quit without getting the back glass in and all that and i lost my job and hit a big rut and really havnt had the money or the time to work on the car in about 2 years
