The part about being at State Fair Park is wrong!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It will be at the lancastereventcenter.
1: It's NOT at Nebraska State Fair Park: If you go there you'll find an empty facility. It's at Lancaster Events Center, 84th & Havelock, i.e. northeast end of Lincoln. 2: This will be the first year at Lancaster Events Center. 3: Facility is open for outdoor vendor setup at 3am; gates open for buyers at 7am. not sure on the wichita meet, but this is a big one. not sure how things will go out at the event center, but i guess we'll find out! i would say put it on your to-do-list. it's usually worth it.
It used to be much bigger than the Wichita swap meet. It used to be 90% outdoors. We can only speculate how large it will be this year as it is now 75% indoors. AND the fact that there has been one to three feet of snow on the ground here in Lincoln since last November.
i've heard through the g****vine that all 3 buildings were initially reserved, but now only 2 will be used. i think i might just go to buy this year and avoid the long lines and m*** confussion! plus, all my stuff is buried under snow!! good luck to those that sell.
in the past you could get in on saturday, they setup indoor vendors on saturday afternoon, is that still the case?
I hope the weather is decent for a change. I've heard some of the buildings aren't heated and it gets damn cold in there. Do you know anything about that Nick?
back to the top------one week away---------so far I plan on being at the museum tour at 2 pm on Saturday with my pal Terry who is a vendor and my favorite brother in law Lawrence who along with me hope to buy stuff on Sunday.
