With the cost of resto I think $300 to $400, they do come up once in a while. NOS one I saw last year brought $2500 in the box. If you're serious about selling shoot me a pm, I'm interested!

My freind picked one up for his 1940 project, pretty bad ass. I'd bet you could sell one rough for 200 bucks or more.

This is a 1940 accessory wheel ,Was on my 39 when new ,I know the original owners family. Apparently the car was on the lot late in the year and they added this wheel to sell the car.

OK, I'm a dumbass. Could someone explain how they work? What do you do with the smaller wheel?

Me too, but when i saw that it had three pages and wasn't closed yet, i had to look.

I second what another poster said about Kochs steering wheel restoration, i have purchased several restored wheels from him, he does excellent work.

That wheel is awesome...but I reckon i'd get tangled up in it :)

  18. That may have been originally intended for handicapped usage, since you don't release the wheel in a full turn.

I'm guessing that the lowrider crowd has kept the demand high, therefore the price high.

Hmm... Haven't seen those before. I have no interest in one, but it's cool.

I'm sure it makes people "ooh.." and "ahh..."
