History Vintage Wheel Balancer Tool

    Least thats my guess old alignment tool of some kind.

    Looks like the lil rollers on the end fit inside a rim,,and then ......

    Measures 14 through 17 inch wheels. Lil round puck slides and has a number window.

    Square rod rotated to different wheel sizes.

    Neat thing I though I'd share

    When i saw the ***le I thought you were going to have a pic of a very old big hammer. What you have here is indeed neat though.

    I got something similar with a tire/wheel balancer.

    First look I saw the same thing. Tire balancer, but I'm not sure how it would work with the wheels on the ends that run inside the rim.

    Looking at it again, I'm convinced it's a balancer.

    Sits inside the rim turn it, and adjust it to get the tire to sit flat, and add weights at that point.

    ahh ,,so its the top part and there should be a stand to go with it ?

    That's what I'm thinking. Does it have a 0 in the middle of the bar?

    If so, anything off to the side would be the weight to add.

    If this is true, then yes, it would need some sort of stand that pivots.

    I'm only guessing here. :)
