Well right now it looks like only I will be coming out. Dustin has talked about coming but I think he may be going to the Lonestar round up instead.
We have lived in Vegas since 2004 took a break this year and moved to Reno for a year but heading back to Vegas. VLV has changed. For the good? Or bad? We hit it first thing in the mornings and enjoy the show. Before every one and the heat show up! I was very disapointed when they moved to the Orleans from the coast casino! We had a black caddy convertible that we always parked at the top of the parking garage ramp and had to keep going back to check on it. We had several times people sitting on our hood taking photos and one time some one was sitting on the back like a freaking parade car! So, I can say that those in attending that DO NOT OWN cars and do not understand the work that goes into them have NO repspect! I want to thank every one with a car that makes the drive every year for giving us a great show!
No club and not bringing a car but I am flying out representing Alabama and I'm bringing at least four friends since it will also be my 40th birthday. Hotel is booked just waiting for airfare to hopefully drop.
Since we have to change our name from the "East Valley Demons" to "????", Hopefully we will have our new name settled by then. Either way, well be there as a club just not sure what the hell we will be called. We at least have it narrowed down to a few possibilities.
Been talkin' to the boys (and girls), looks like we have about Eight cars making the trip. As usual, somebody might jump in, -or- out but here's the core. Johnnie.
Not sure if the group is going to make it we are looking into various shows at this time trying to weigh it out..
Trailer Park Limo's will be in the parking lot, cause their cars are around 65 and up and are not aloud in... TPL's dont give a phuk... Roll'n their heaps till there hot rods are done...
That is cool because the parking lot outside of Viva's car show, is a better car show than most car shows ! A lot of cool rides sitting in the regular parking lot.
I was trying to get my car ready for the trip - but ran out of money and time. We'd love to meet up with some folks though for a few beers - our landing party that was going with us has also run into the money issue so it's just my wife and I and have no crew to hang out with.
Some Los Desperados from Phx may appear at the show, But El Jefe, (Me) is going to the Rukkus. I'm pretty much done with Viva after the cluster f--- last year.. It's not the same since it was moved from the Gold Coast parking garage. Just tooooo many posers
