Hey there. I'm just doing my intro now. sorry i posted a question to find some information about my car to get some stuff done... i know that the general way to begin is to start with your intro then post.... so my appologies if i offended any of you HAMB veterans... anyhoo. I'm Denise, I got the most of my project done now, a 54 ford mild kustom. i'm going for a period correct look from the late 50's with the panel paint in basecoat, shaved handles and trim and lowered... i've still got a lot of work to do, but i guess ya gotta start somewhere. My daily driver is a 64 ford 3/4 ton longbed with the compound low 4 speed. the project i was talking about is an original straight six 223 with 3 on the tree. (i'll be swapping out for a 351 windsor this summer if all goes as planned and i can get her back to california to work in the shop again) my garage is a gravel alleyway covered with snow. i do what i can, and keep my stuff running. i like to do automotive artwork in my living room since there's not a whole lot to do when it's snowing here. if you would like to know anything else just ask! thanks- Denise
Welcome Denise! Green River is beautiful I have had my hair cut there on main street at the salon on the north side just west of the way cool book store with the coffee bar Jim
Jason, Jim, Chilly and Stefan... thanks for the welcome funny that you've been through here Jim.... it's such a small place... but it is on one of the most traveled roads in the country!!! next time. you gotta stop off at Penny's Diner... good chicken fried steak!!! Stefan... i totally understand the snowy part.. burrrrrr it is cold here!!! i keep trying to paint in my alley... but lately it's just been bodywork... thank goodness you can still sand when it's freezing cold! haha!!!
351 good! The theo likes! I built transmissions in my living room and have painted cars in a dirt alley under a tent. Cold air also forses me to work inside. Thats half the fun. Nice to meet ya.
