I'm considering have louvers on the tops of my stock 35 Ford hood - question is how many louvers and what size. Do you start up front on the narrower end with to sets per side running for/aft and increase to three across toward the back? I'd appreciate suggestions and pictures of 35/36 hoods with louvered tops - Thanks
Here is a 36 Ford hood I had done. 100 louvers in all. I believe they were 3". I chose to use all the area I could on the hood tops, function before form. You may wish to make the middle row of louvers shorter to make the 3 rows more symetrical. I looked at a lot of hoods, counted a lot of louvers and took a lot of photos before I made a decision.
