hey alex.. i like both, but i think the black wins out!! will be fun to see yours and okeefes next to each other this summer.. both awesome but so different.. dave
(0wLarry ?) Well,.... its kind of a gray area,... I guess that our own 3wLarry has a 32 Truck cab now,.... and technically it has the same window configuration as a 3W coupe,..... SOOOOOOOOOOO,..... there you go. (I guess technically there is a 5/W and a 7/W sedan )
alfin32 ... I'm really diggin' the second set of "shoes" ... your car really takes on a whole new look with the different tire/wheel combination ... I'd say you now have TWO very *****in' Deuce 5wd Coupes! Have you considered a second set of HEMI valve covers? ... perhaps a pair of chromed (Chrysler FirePower) stockers when you run the Steelies/Hubcaps ... and the O'Brien Truckers when you run the Indy Roadsters / PS Engineering Kidneys ... ???
Like the black wheels much better. What is that motor? Hemi or some kind of special heads on a flatty? Injected, right?
Wow your coupe would have even John Milner shaking in his boots if you pulled up next to him at a light
Toyed with this idea a while back. O'Brien covers painted Black with the fins polished. I like the Chromed Fire Power idea too. Changing the wheels/tires, and the valve covers is really like having two different cars. I'm becoming the Imelda Marcos of Deuces.
ALFIN32...man that's 1 fine hotrod, and brother i love the quickchange. AL i may be the only 1 here who digs mags. but brother they realy look good on your coupe. and a HEMI too, holly taledo! MR. you do know how to build a hotrod. i'am proud your a H.A.M.B. brother...POP.
After today's chat and now looking at the pics again I gotta find out what that "dark alloy" finish is to put on the kidney beans.
Pulled the kidney beans off, and blasted them with co**** sand to roughen up the surface. I'm going to spray them flat, dark gray to see what that looks like, and just use the polished spinner as contrast. I'll post them when done.
