Customs The Pearl Necklace Finally Gets Some Paint!!!!!

WOW...it's lookin awesome for coming from a couple of hackers!!

I've gotta try and catch up with you guys this summer so I can check it out in person...maybe have a beer or two frikin dozen with youz!

Joe's car is lookin awesome, I can't believe how different it looks. You guys have done a real nice job, keep the pics coming...

 

It may not seem like much, but we got alot accomplished in the last week. The back half of the car is rubbed out and the nose and roof are sanded waiting to be buffed. We got word the tailights are done at the "chrome" guy, and we also got our set of handmade lenses from a special person who wishes to remain nameless. And by special, I mean slightly retarded. We even did our part to help the unemployment rate by hiring a local out of work politician to wash the car in between steps!

Anyway, were gonna be cutting it real close, but with a 3-day wknd coming up for me, I'm planning on sleeping at the shop and having everything minus the interior ready to go. Anthony White has the dash currently and will be down in the coming weeks to lay miles and miles of striping on it.

 

I don't know what hurts worse, my hands from sanding or my wallet from buying the **** i need to finish it

We didn't get the gl*** in yet. Turns out Mac's listed 2 gaskets that fit, I bought the wrong one. The new one was ordered earlier this week and should be sitting on my porch as I speak. Getting the gl*** in is first priority

Gonna throw the seats and door panels in this weekend. Billy and Russ put the carpets in already. Need to finish a little ***embly on the dash, re***emble the gauge cluster and install, glove box door...minor stuff. \

Outside, just need to put the headlights in and the trim rings, bolt on the front valence and bumper. Once Billy buffs the skirts they can go on.

Then a real good detailing.

Did I mention all of this while Anthony White is striping? We'll figure it out

Wet sanding.... Might just be me, but it is not a favorite job. Results are worth it though!

Dave, the guys are working hard finishing up. Not time for picture taking!
Even with Bill abandoning the build team this weekend to go skiing with Paris Hilton, or Clay Aiken, or something, the guys look pretty well set to make it to Detroit.
Joe is definately sleep deprived at this point!
