Boston 54 Chevy needs help

Does anyone in the area have 3 speed chevy ****** for a Chevy car not a truck ... laying in your shop ? I would love to work something out with ya ...

The new bedford standard times cl***ified has a late 50's 3 speed transmission for sale for 60.00. The number is 508-636-2622. I think thats a Westport, Ma number. Its been in the paper for months. Hope it helps ya.

 

Its odd,someone else just called us looking for the same thing,seems hard to find.

 

If you have a 54 235, a late 50's ****** won't match up.

I know a guy out here from a 53 210, let me see if he's getting rid of it. He's going to another drive train set up.

The three speed I'm thinking of came from his big Joe 54(possibly 53?) and spent some time in the Boston ****box. It was "converted" to an open drive-line, and floor shift, but maybe could still be used. If it's still around.

I got one. its in a 54 chevy car. 3 speed torque tube style. I aint using it. Free if you pay shipping.

i should have one 3sp manual it is still in the frame so would have bell housing clutch and most of the link age will check on sat morning when i go the ware house

found it, 3sp still in the frame,, is complete except for some of the shift rods from colum, though most are there, has colum but missing shifter in the car and the steering wheel, has engine of unknown condition, but does not look to bad it is complete

i shifted the 2 rods on the side and they moved, car came from sw kanaas about 5 years ago

frame is excellent conditon with front end and rear axle w drive shaft, i am not really intrested in pulling trans, just do not have the time,

anyone have one kicking around 3 peed , car, chevy , torq tube set up .

 

bummer just got rid of one from my 54....
