Good Lord Genuine Stromberg Replacement Parts are EXPENSIVE!

    Sooooo...each carb was restored at a cost of $166.66 each.
    I think that sounds fair if it's a primo resto.

    For what it's worth, I'm not talking about having a restoration done, I'm just talking about parts.

    I'm thinking that if the Good Lord laid aside all his really important stuff to make us hot rodders some parts, the least we could do is not ***** about what he charges.

    I recently picked up a rebuild kit for my Stromberg from Autozone for $10.... Of course it the wrong kit! After a couple of weeks of searching, I was told by a fellow hamber about LARRY ISGRO CARBURETORS INC. in New York. Friendly, great customer service and exactly the kit I needed! I paid $60 for the kit but hey, I got the kit! My stromberg is a BXVD-3 off of my 49 Dodge Coronet and it was a ***** to find the kit. That being said..... I would have paid twice as much!
