yeah, the PT shouldn't have parked there... i like how they think they're part of the old car crowd, but it sucks that his car got hit by an idiot.

'51 Merc just finished by the owner of Cypress Auto Body. You have to see this car and the color in person to really get the full effect. Car was stunning. I do have to admit, though, I do not like the lifted front wheel openings.

Side scoops featured '58 Corvette spears. The side scoop treatment reminded me of the Hirohata Merc, but this car was a little more radically swooped down and around.

Almost forgot the rear. Very nicely done with '54 Merc taillights and DeSoto bumper with cut down Kaiser guard molded in.

Circle City was there with a gorgeous T and '32 Roadster on display. The T had some beautiful framework, and both cars were finished off very well. These guys were great to talk to, and they really knew their shit.

I got my first boner ever when I saw these staggered pipes. I have always loved staggered pipe headers, and these were a great example with the little fancy brace thingy welded on to them.

Here's the '32. I usually get tired of seeing '32 roadsters because there are so many out there, but this car could not be ignored. '53 Olds motor, Brookville body sitting on American Stamping rails. BLC headlights, Banjo steering wheel, and perfect tuck and roll. Color was a newer Jaguar maroon that looked a lot like '36 Ford Lightfast maroon. Very, very nice car.

This '51 Merc sedan had the front upper hood lip molded just like the Hirohata Merc.

wow, i really like this one........
thanks for all your posting of the pics.

most of the shows here in florida suck.......

it's either all gold chainers with billet crap, or fake fibersglass cars with absolutely no creative or imaginative chopping, or crafting to speak of.
