Marty and Dan came up from Portland last night and dropped off Eric's Dodge body.

it was the long lost missing ingredient needed for determining engine location and wheelbase.

    thanks guys!

    hey 60's style,

what did you use to seal the primer on your other car?

sorry to wreck the thread, but i asked when you were priming it but i must have missed the answer.

ok thanks, thats what mine is right now too, i thought there was talk about sealing it for a while so you could drive it before you painted it.

it's not the right way to do it,

a top coat should go on as soon as the base coats are cured.

the primer is porous enough to let moisture and other contaminates in and may compromise the end product.

I keep mine relatively clean and dry, and will wash it real good with degreaser and dry it good in the heated garage before paint.

it's a hot rod what can I say?
