Just a suggestion; you live in Southern California, why don't you just cut the top off yourself and make it a convertible. Take the savings spend an hour on "grims" couch and buy "Ian" a remote keyboard to plug into his macbook.

 

first off , I would hope that no one helps this guy, second , he needs to take a 2 day corse from winfield, and buy a welder and figure this out for himself. I made a good friend not long ago, all becaues of some smart comment on the hamb.this guy goes out teaches himself how to weld, cut fit ,grind,and everything else that goes with it. he has amazing ability and talent, and doesn't know the words "I can't" or " it won't work". he is a true insperation to many, and a friend to me. So dude, go out , learn, build, come back and show us that you just aren't some chump with a big mouth. teach us something, then you too will know. and the friend I'm talking about is Ian berkey And I hope he doesn't work for you becasue he is better then you will ever be able to afford , even if its free. meaning you don't deserve his talent. do it yourself, man up !
