I've been lurking for a long time now. I figure it's time. I've got a 51 Plymouth Cranbrook I'm working on right now. Bought it out of a rough neighborhood before the guy had a chance to cut holes for Mercedes headlights. I thought about the whole street rod thing for a whle but my ex-wife really wanted me to restore it. She wasn't fighting fair. I saw the light (got a divorce) and now I see that a custom is the only way to go. I want to keep the stock engine in there because it's so quiet and so cool looking. I'm looking for speed parts like everyone else. I have some of the front sheetmetal off the car and I'm going to order front end parts probably this week. I'm going to get all of the suspension parts blasted at an airline hanger pretty soon. It's nice having friends in interesting jobs, especially when they have lots of free time. I'd just like to thank everybody for what I've learned so far. I have a degree in computer science so this is really outside my area of expertise. I'm just an addict and I can't explain it. I'll try to get you some photos tommorow. Again, thanks. Brucee10 bruceecouch@yahoo.com

I'm from Muncie. I just moved back after college. Sorry about the profile. I could have sworn I filled it out, but you know how that goes. Hopefully I will have photos for you tonight. Brucee10
hey bruce, welcome from a former hoosier. i'm from lafayette originally, in fact i raced soap box derby in muncie back in about '59 or '60. you'll like it here, lots of knowledge to chew on around here, it'll keep you well fed. good luck, mike
As a Hoosier you will be interested in this. http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/showflat.php?Cat=&Number=664189&page=0&view=collapsed&sb=5&o=7&fpart=1&vc=1&PHPSESSID= I used to live in Lafayette in college and I worked in Romney. I was briefly a Hoosier as well.
Im from the Huntington/Ft. Wayne area...not too far away from Muncie. Been to Ball State to a party once or twice...
welcome hoosier. I live near Seymour and work on southside of Indy. Got a extra frt bumper for a 51 or 52 plymouth? Got a friend in need of one for a 52 suburban wagon later Shoe
I promised some pics and I realized that every photo I put up cost Ryan a bit of money so I cleared out some space on my business webserver to start my own personal webpage. I'm gonna make it pretty over time, but for now that car photos will go first. car photos As for replies, Ron I know exactly where you live. I'm a Wapahani kid. Your house is on the way to my best friend's house. I also know your daughter. I always loved your flamethrowing cars. The colors are my fav but the style is mean and nasty. I will try to make the blanket run on Saturday. As long as they allow 2002 Blazers, I'll be there. Grumpy, your chop is inspiring. Mine has only a snowballs chance of looking that good. I wouldn't mind seeing it in person some day. Triumph - I don't have one lying around, but my parts car has one with some surface rust on it. If you want to pull it you're more than welcome. It's on a concrete pad so it wouldn't be that bad, but all four tires are flat. To everyone else, I feel really welcome already. I've been reading the tech-o-matic and I must say that if I want for information, the HAMB can deliver. P.S. I know know of any Flathead performance parts PM me. I need to start collecting early.
Hey Brucee, Welcome to the board!! I'm in Anderson, just down the road from ya! A while back I saw that Mel's drivein at Muncie was closed and for sale....I'm sure gonna miss their Friday night cruise ins!! Good luck, Jon
Welcome. I'm from Shelbyville. I used to have a 51 just like it so I know a little about them. I may also have some extra parts laying around, but I don't have much. Let me know if you need some help finding parts.
