Hello to all, My name is Kevin, I have been involved in the old car hobby for over 40 years. I still have my first car, 1972 Formula Firebird that I bought NEW at the age of 18 $4140 out the door! First year insurance was $2200, needless to say I WORKED for that car! In 1985 I bought my first "old car" 1957 Pontiac 2 door hardtop. It has gone through 2 style changes, 1st I did it as a mild custom which was the trend at that time on the east coast (CT). In 2001 we moved to Central Ohio, and I went with a more Hot Rod look. In 2003 I started a Free Weekly Cruise Night at a local eatery. I was amazed that with the number of old cars in this area that there were almost no places where guys could hang out with their rides for free! The Cruise has grown and been a great place to make new friends, it's become like a family! I am looking forward to being a part of H.A.M.B. as i still have many ?s and maybe even a few answers! Kevin And yes I hate winter!
hey from wyoming.... and yes... i'm so over winter too... my babies seem to keep getting this weird white stuff on them that falls from the sky..... huh? haha..!!!
still got my first car bought it when i was 13..it's 1971 455 h/o trans am auto but i converted to a four the second year...i've paid out thirty five thousand in fines to date although i am currently insured as an ideal driver....wow how did that happen....
Welcome Kevin, Enjoy the ride, show us the Pontiac. Stay warm up there in Ohio, another month and the mud season begins. That's why I moved south back in 1971!
Thanks to all for the WARM welcome, glad to be here, actually glad to be anywhere! Kevin A kick in the ass, is still a step forward!
