Hey success! First time I have ever posted a pic. Now I can show you all this turd as it progresses. I honestly have had more fun messing around with this than anything else in a while.
Be glad to take that old junky useless channeled frame off your hands.... oh now...it looks like you fixed it up?
Whitey, I used the original frame but still have some of the stuff left and will pm you with the sloppy seconds if you would like. JC
I'm with ya brother. I took alot of **** for doing it from some of my right coast brothers but you gotta do what you gotta do. I've always found that if you aren't 100% satisfied with what you are doing you will never be satisfied with the finished product. I can't wait to show you guys the sister to this little coupe. She should be here in the very near future and I will post as soon as possible. JC
Looks great! The stance and everything is spot on! Love the engine choice as well. I can't wait to start on my 5 window some day. It's sitting in a shed begging for me to give it some attention!
I've been listenin' to you whine about that 5w for a long while now...sell it to me and I'll get that ****er fixed... forgot the hugs and kisses part...
Its good to see any saved.... Ill take ALL that old N.E. hot rod junk....I love it.... But that coupe does look really cool....like it retained some of its N.E. soul.... nice job.... Just dont un channel any more O.K.....or i will send my version of the GUIDO Brothers(look it up)....and there like the little guys from DOGMA with the hockey sticks....cool
I agree with 3wlarry. I'm pleased you unchanneled it. Looks to be a great project. I'm excited for you.
I just got off the phone with my ***ociates....the kids are in canada for the Olympics. but....... they said their DADS were ready to "Put on the foil" if they heard of any more old N.E. hotrods getting un channeled....
Gotta love them Hanson Brothers a kick *** trio if ever there was one. This car while definitely a right coast piece actually is a mid atlantic piece. I didn't put the knife to it without alot of thought though.
is there any more turds around there? don't flush them call me!!! the stance is dead on. i love it!!!!
That is a story for a 12 pack or so. Let's just say it wasn't easy the car had been sitting since 1963 and very likely would never have left its spot if not for my little brother and a bottle of Canadian mist. Oh yeah there was a pocket full of 100s too.
Hahahaha!!! I know you would Larry. And I have only been whining about that coupe for 6 months. You have a few more year of me whining before I even start on it so get used to it!!!!
