Hello hambers, I have a quick question about what master cylinder are you running on your model a with hydraulic brakes?

This is for a mostly stock model a pickup with 46-48 brakes

I am looking to mount a good dual bowl drum/drum master cylinder under the floor. Either directly to or spaced off of the center cross member of the model a frame and I wanted to ask around to see what you are using or suggest using?

Anyone like using or suggest using 67/68 mustang and 68/69 vette or other donor masters with any luck?

and in addition to residual valves would u run a porportioning for the rear say a br*** or wilwood one from speedway?

thank u all for your time and knowledge in this

I have used a ford ganada drum, drum on my 32 sedan. No residual or porp. valve. (has an internal residual) I have 10 years and 40K with no problems.

thank u scot i appreciate it...do u possibly know what year granada?

  4. i believe the first Granada was made in 1975 , and i don't believe they came with drum/drum brakes...i may be wrong

i've used the famous 68/69 ford mustang drum/drum master cylinder on cars with `40-`48 ford on all four corners several times and it they have always worked great
