Hello all, I am starting a new small book style hot rod magazine here in the southeast, and would like to hear from some of you more artistic types that could be a contributor with illustrations. The magazine is called Fuel Line Magazine and covers the Southeastern Traditional Rod Scene. I am doing this on a shoe string budget, and I have no real publishing experience, but I do have a p***ion for traditional cars. Coverage will be focused on what the smaller shops and individual builders are doing around the Charlotte area, and the greater South East. So if you have an interest in having your work promoted, I would welcome any examples of your work. Keep in mind that this is for traditional hot rods, so any work you have along those lines would be great. Please PM me with any input. Thanks! Curt
I happen to work for a publishing company that's now based in Charlotte. I am the lead editorial designer/art director so if you need any advice or what not let me know. I have the intentions of starting a run of small books that showcase cool cars and shops that I have seen in my travels. It'll be cool to see what you have up your sleeve.
