I finally got around to joining! My name is Paul and I currently have two old cars, one American and a little English one. So biggest first, it's a 59 Impala Coupe that I've owned since 1989. It's black, has a 280hp tripower 348 with T10 four speed and posi. Wheels are ARE Torqthrusts. Suspension has been uprated with HD springs, PST bushes, sway bars etc and it now has power disc brakes for same day stopping power. Interior is red 'n white tuck 'n roll. The little car is a 1959 Ford Anglia 105E, that's the model that 'flew' in the Harry Potter movie. This one is all stock as somehow it's managed to survive 51 years without going rusty. It's very original, factory paint and chrome and has only done 31,000 miles. So there you go, big fins and little fins!
Welcome Paul, I'm a new member too. I've several friends that had old cl***ic English cars. None of those had a speck of rust. All of those cool little cars were equipped with fantastic self-lubricating undercarriages. You never had to change the oil, just swap the filter once a year and top off the crankcase. The old oil would spray the entire underside of the car in used oil and keep it well insulated from road salts in the winter --J
