*****in zine - I have all 33 issues, and refer to them regularly. The standard of the magazine seems to get better with every issue. I saw the Vodoo Doll 27 tub in the vault of Petersen museum whilst in LA in September, and its a real neat ride - as highly details as any AMBR car.
Thanks for the preview, Chris! I'm glad to see a fellow Phoenix Hamber get some coverage. Congrats to Hot Rod Ron and his 227 Bullet coupe!
Has to be one of the best mags out, can't wait to add this to the pile. Been reading them since issue ona and I swear they keep getting better and better!
Here's a link to some more pics of Voodoo Doll. http://www.streetrodderweb.com/features/0908sr_1927_ford_touring/photo_01.html It's pretty slick.
I just got some copies from Go Kat Go here in town and just wanted to say thanks to the crew at Rolls and Pleats for the 2 page spread on the coupe. The photos were done by up and coming photographer Coalition Imagery and was just to support him and hopefully get his photo career off the ground. I also wanted to get Metalshapes some press for his work on the roof and squaring the body for when I took it over and did all the patch panels. Here is a link to the store that I got the mag from and a link for the photo work. I have always thought that this mag is one of the best and is one of the original mags that got started when this hole traditional hot rod scene came to light. Without this mag I don't think the movement would be where it is now. Thanks again for the feature and keep up the great work on the mag. Here is a link to the photo page of the coupe as well. http://www.myspace.com/301849275 http://www.myspace.com/shopgokatgo http://s141.photobucket.com/albums/r52/checkeredstrip/1932 ford/
I hadn't seen this thread before. Chris, thanks so much for the promotion (saves me doing it!)... Ron and all the others, thanks for the nice words, your cool rides make my mag! By now the new issue should have landed in all the shops. If you want to order a copy or want to know where to find it, check out our website or send me a PM.
