Some of you guys were checking in and watching the progress on my coupe on this thread,
    http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=358339

But I decided to start a new one.
Any way here are some pictures of my louvered visor and of the install.
I will be doing body work all this week end, with some hired help, to get another step closer. I hate bodywork, sanding and bondo and more sanding, not my thing. I do all the metal work and the rough body work, but for all the fine stuff I rather pay somebody.

Nothing against holes, but I agree louvers just look better in my opinion. Besides I'm thinking about building a hood, just the top piece and put some louvers in it also, so louvers are a match.

Alright, it's been a while but here are some update pictures of my coupe. It's finally on the ground and will be going to paint in about a week.
Some pictures of the frame, the subfloor framing, the chromed drumbrake backing plates, and of the coupe standing on it's own legs for the first time.
Next pictures should be of the coupe painted and ready for final ***embly and wiring before it goes to upholstery.

Sweet Ride. You do very nice work. I was admiring your Lasalle at the Autorama. Those chrome pipes coming down are a peice of art work!

Alright, after a week of blocksanding it finally got in to the paintbooth, first it got some white sealer and the four coats of base coat and to finish it of lots of clear. Can't wait to see it in the daylight and not under the neonlights in the booth. Next week upholstery and final ***embly and the buff out the paint to make in nice and shiny!!

Some more pictures of the paint out in the sun, looks different than it did in the booth, more like I was hoping it would. Now all we need to do is buff it out nice but first comes the interior next week. I hung the door, mounted the deck lid and mounted the tail light today and installed the roof insert. I'm gettin' excited, can't wait to drive it!!! The rest of this week I won't have anytime to work on it, gotta get the '37 LaSalle that I built ready for the Fresno Autorama and take it there on thursday. Hope to see some of you guys there!!

Excellent car. Maybe I missed it in earlier posts, but what's the running gear? (Hard to tell from photos.)

Looks great Johnny. Can't wait to see it in person. I'm sure the pics don't do the paint justice.
