Just joined thought I would throw some pics up here of my new project. Picked her up a few months ago. The only thing not original on this car is the wheels and the vinyl seat cover and door panel covers. Plan on getting that 235 to run a little better. The only thing i have done to this car was put some drop spindles and disc brakes on the front. Other than that its fun as hell to drive down the dirt roads with no brakes(still need new Master Cylinder)
Dang, a 210 with a stick! Don't get any better than that. What was the original color on it? I see the blue inside and am thinking the white is over either a light or medium blue. EDIT: Woops, sorry! I see in one of my books there was a white like that, and besides, it's on the firewall. It also says the 210 sedan weighs 3,130lb.'s.
No brakes?..maybe you don't like your car or yourself, as much as you think. Welcome..now fix the brakes!
Wow! Looks more like a 20 year old garage find than a 55 year old car. They're still out there, just not one on every street like 30 years ago. It's almost a shame to do much more than the basic wheels and detail on that runner. Detail the 6? They sound cool with a split exhaust! How's the trunk and floors?
Don't mean to yell but GET SOME BRAKES ON THAT THING. Too much at stake even for just a couple of short trips. Frank
what they said--BRAKES !! you could bend it up before you get started and get seriously hurt in the process--nice 210 !!
nice car, nice shot behind the truck too. So you've got huge gonads or few neurons firing....get the brakes, don't want to hear anything happened to you. That shot of what looks to be a power slide is cool too. I like it in the shape it is in on the outside. IMO leave the outside alone. Good luck...be smart
Really nice start! I like the 55s the best out of the tri fives. Maybe someday I'll get one when I'm over the 20's and 30's hot rods?
That car looks like the same one that I saw at the winter Conroe swap meet about five or six years ago and still kick myself for not buying it for $6K, if I remember correctly.....NICE, straight, solid car! DD
Now thats a survivor! My vote's for upgrading the mechanicals, such as the brakes you're already doing. Just don't hack up the body. Butch/56sedandelivery.
The tunk is all there only two small rust spots on the floor pans both passenger and driver side. The 235 is getting completely reworked. It was sittng in a garage with crap piled around it. cranked right up.
Well I plan to leave the exterior alone for now and just get the floor pans patched and the interior back to original or back to something close. As for the 235 im pulling it soon and getting it rebuilt with some clifford performance parts. The tranny well i just dont know what to do there I like the 3 on the tree but have been looking at a 200-4r. Any suggestions are welcome and pics to back them are even better
why not leave it like it is and drive it??? .....or you could trade it to me for my buick and some cash and i will.....
