Thanks for the road repott. The weather man is not calling for anymore so I should be good to go.

  3. I'm taken the 53 even if its a blizzard! I know how to wash it so weather is a nonfactor.

Same here- definitely bringin the '53. Does anyone know if we will be parking our cars in the little lot behind the Mineshaft? My girl's car got smashed into while parked a few weeks ago (F#cker took off), so I'm a little itchy about street parking. Guess I'll figure it out when I get there.

    See you all tomorrow!

Well Scott and everyone, sorry I didn't meet up with ya. I was bummed. I got down there about 12:10 and they said there wasn't anymore room up with ya all and that food was served to everyone. So they sat me down in a corner downstairs and I hoped to catch up with you guys at the museum. We got over there and Lilly fell asleep enroute and I figured I'd put her in her stroller and go on in, well she woke up as I was putting her in her stroller and didn't want any part of staying in it. I asked her if she wanted to go in and she said no. So after all of that I decided to go back home, she fell asleep about half an hour after we left.
Hopefully there will be another one that I can get to.
I did manage to get a few kool shots though!!!

Maybe this is why it didn't work out. I to had a bit of "Bad Luck" today.

  14. Hey Louver Dude,

thanks again, it was a great idea.
Saw familiar faces, met new ones.
    Looking forward to more.
The Hartford, Wi. Automotive Museum is a must. I'll go back again.

So, my overview is that "my day and my time were fun, all due to the people, that I met and the things that I saw".

    See ya soon.

  15. My hydraulic breakfast was "AWESOME"... the "Bloody Mary Express" blew my mind.... and the burger was great too!

Next time I better just meet everybody at the museum! Hahaha...!

thanks for putting it together Steve. Nice time and great to meet some new faces with familiar names.

And next time I won't navigate for Wingnutz after his hydraulic breakfast. Good thing I was there, because the lady giving directions slurred her words worse than Mark.

  26. I also had a great time. Was good to have a face to put to an avatar. Figured no one else posted pics so i would. Their not great but neither was the lighting in there. Really enjoyed the upstairs seeing i spent every Wednesday and Saturday night back in the 70's at dirt tracks watching racing.

We arrived at the MineShaft at 12, tables were full so we had lunch by the bar and ended up talking with some of the guys from the La Crosse bus trip. Met zeekthesneek and his pa from LC. Also met PBRmeASAP.

Good times...great way to break up the winter.

I had a great time talking to everyone at the mine shaft. We probably could have lit the end of that celery on fire to help light the room. :p
