I'm just wondering what type of service you have ad with this company. Any feedback on the quality of parts, customer service and order times?
ive bought all my airline fittings and airline from them. i like there stuff bettter than aim industires, they calld me once to make sure my order was right one time. shipping seeemed to take a weeek and half but i understand its far from me but i still got it. i recomend them to my friends
I had them build some custom link bars for me and have bought some other miscellaneous items from them over the years. Amazing, amazing, amazing service and quality. I can't believe that the above poster even put them in the same company as AIM. Suicidedoors.com is top notch.
I have a friend that has a mini truck that orders from them all the time and everything seems to be really good. Im lookin at ordering through them for my galaxie sense i cant afford a $7000 air ride suspension
a friend of mine was putting air ride in his 63 impala some years back and used their parts. he was very happy with the service and parts................john
well i bought **** from aim cuz there local and i can pick it up. but all there dam fittings did was leak, suicidedoors stuff was nice, just using them as comparison. then my buddy bought a valve block from aim, dam thing said 300psi, well all the dam thing did was leak, called aim and they told us not to run it over 130 psi! wtf. 130 dont even list the car, and then why does it say 300. the valveblock i got ffrom S.D.'s works bad*** way happy with S.D'd. ok ill stop talkin about aim.
I bought valves, fittings, bags, plates and cups from them. All arrived fast and was good stuff. I was happy.
Nothin but good to say about S.D. I've ordered tons of stuff from em, custom length bars, custom brackets, Bags, fittings, compressors you name it. Hell the first bag install I did a number of years ago I clogged up their tech line FOREVER makin sure things were right and within spec. they never *****ed or gave me the cold shoulder....even got to know (over the phone) the blokes round there on a personal level....good dudes running a good business centered on a great product and excellent customer service. You can find bargain basment prices elsewhere and will pay a bit more from them on some stuff but it's worth it in my eyes (FBI same statement as above)
These guys have top notch products and their weld are flawless. I've been buying from them for years. They will kustom fab anything you can draw on paper and fax over. All the suspension items for my Cadi came form them and I wouldn't hesitate to orde more.
Yup great company to deal with, I ordered a engine drive compressor through them, Air Lift drop shipped it, but they sent me some s-10 brackets. I called air lift, they gave me the run around. Called suicidedoors up, ********ted with the owner, Jason, while he had one of his guys calling Air Lift, got it straightened out and I got the right brackets. They have good prices, good quality products, and great service. AIM (or the ten million other names they go by) doesn't measure up, remember you get what you pay for.
Holy ****, AIM is STILL in business? They were peddling JUNK 20 years ago when I was mini-truckin'! Does someone have an algebraic algorhythm to show how many times those clowns must have been sued??? Even 20 years ago word on the street was they'd rob ya blind! Overpromise and underdeliver is in their mission statement, I'm sure. Can there actually be enough "fresh meat" out there to stay in business?
Thanks all. I have heard nothing but good. My small order has just taken a while and I guess I'm being impatient. I placed three orders from three companies all at the same time. Each a different size. But I received the other orders in less than 48 hours. This order still has not been processed. Sounds like they are busy. Damn.
I ordered a pair of bags and some brackets from them a few years ago, card was charged nothing delivered. Calls were made, nothing delivered. Finally called and asked to speak to the HMFIC (If I remember right his name was Dave?) He said the bags were backordered, meanwhile I got a car on stands waiting for new bags for a little under a month. After a few emails back and forth my money was refunded and I took my business elsewhere. Now, for the record.... Once I was told the parts were backordered, they were very helpful. I was more upset that my card was charged and nobody contacted me to let me know the order status and I had to do the legwork. I would buy from them again, but I would certainly do a stock check first.
I did get an immediate response saying they were 3-4 days behind, 4 days after my order was placed. I just need to get work done. If non-custom parts are not in stock, I would hope they would tell me.
I've ordered from them many times. Their website is great, I've never been shipped a wrong part and their descriptions and photographs are accurate. I've experienced from other companies, that take your order over the phone, wrong parts being sent. I ordered from a company some combination single unit switch and valve. They seemed like a creative and simpler design solution that the electric switch and valve. Well, they would not even hold air over nite, they leaked big time. Also other companies that didn't httpS their payment function. You could have alot worse problems than a shipment being a day or so late. There are some real non professional outfits out there.
The best stuff that you can buy in my opinion. Fair prices and excellent service. They're good guys and will take care of you.
I have used a ton of stuff from them. Excellent quality. No trouble at all. It seems that they take about a week to get the stuff into the delivery truck, though. Mind you, this is not unusual in the industry. I'd rather they be expert at welding and fabrication that boxing and shipping.
I get most of my air-ride stuff, bracketry etc. from them. Ive placed about 6 orders in the past 7 years with no problems. They have good honest pricing and the quality of the hard parts is second to none. Thier custom link kits are bomb proof and would be just at home on a pre-runner. Is there such a thing as overkill?? Watch for the big truck and get that welder warmed up.
I ordered a rearend bag setup from them, real sweet work. I would call them and talk to them they are real cool people. Tell them what you want to do to what you have and they will let you know what you need, they didnt even try to up sell me stuff!!!
great company, never had any problems...prices are good but I can beat them if I had to say one complaint it would be they take forever to ship some things..my buddys been waiting 4 weeks for his 4 link
