Does anyone know where in the U.S. he will be with the cars? I would love to see ALL of them.

Not sure yet. He will be in the US from January 1 I believe. Look out for him on the West Coast first.

If you know Jay Leno, give him a call. He'll probably be snooping around the Merlin powered '55. [IMG]

All of the above.... [IMG], will be based in Orange County California, and trailering the various cars to the 'larger' shows....

I believe Both Rod and Bill Musset ( the guy who worked for Rod who did a real lot of work on the '55) talked a bit to jay Leno when the '55 was being built. Geoff aka Whodaky

3. Well my name has been thrown in - so I gotta respond. First, I aint nobody's beetch [IMG], and second, yes Rods rides are outlandish because:

a.Hes already built most of the ****before that we call
kool coz hes so whats a guys to do ? U got it, build
something different.

b Like Whodaky said, that 55 isnt my cup of tea
either, but the engineering , planning, fabrication and
detail work in a project of this magnitude is phenomenal.

c.Hes a buisinessman AND a rodder: what better way to
showcase the talents of CRS ?

d.Hes put Aussie rodding ingenuity and commitment on the MAP
worldwide boys...I take off my hat to him.

e.For our American brothers, put into context what hes done
with the 55...never been done before....PERIOD. Now I
love 55's like every other bloke, but I would have
an Aussie car to showcase CRS's talents.

f. Brootal, look what you done did !!

g. BTW, its RAT BASTAD...not RAT *******.....sheesh [IMG]

dont worry rat, you'll always be a ******* to me [IMG] [IMG]

for any yanks reading this, get out and see all these cars, it does show case what can be done in OZ, the 55 HAS to be seen to be believed, I saw this car during construction numerous times, the detail that you dont see would blow your mind, sitting there in a show you cant see a 10th or what had to be done engineering wise to make this possible, and at least theres no 17" billet to be seen...

5. Look,

RBasterd, FlatOz, ladies please there is no need to fight. we all know your BOTH my *****ES so you can stop your whining and fretting.

Leave that to the talk about Rods toys.

Yes brutes that's what I meant I just dumbed it down so the Aussie's could understand it [IMG]

Unfortunatly I type like I talk, one long quick barrage just listen quicker OK

No one who actually likes cars could criticise these creations they are works of art and way beyond what the average guy achieves in his shed

Why is that so many people build old style hot rods that look like they have just been found in some old barn or whatever, and they then fit freshly painted wheels and stick on bullet holes?? [IMG] [IMG]
