Hi Folks, I'm a long time car guy in the Northeast Ohio area. I've got a '39 Ford coupe street rod that I've had for an eternity. It has the requisite 350 Chevy engine and trans with a '69 Camaro rear end. I've been looking to install a 200-R4 overdrive transmission or possibly a Gear Vendor's overdrive unit. It seem that every time I search to find information, I end up back here as a guest reading someone's post. So, I might as well become a member so I can actually search the site myself and post questions. I'm also hoping to contribute to the site by answering questions about fat old Fords. Gary
Welcome from New Zealand. I'd make a cheeky comment about the SBC, but I've never thought what powered a rod (or even what kind of vehicle) was important. '39s-40s are my favourite pre-war Fords, especially coupes. Your ride looks very nice, indeed. I think you'll find HAMB a great place to find information and share ideas.
