This is totally self serving, trying to generate some traffic to the site, but I know that some of you are interested. Thanks for checking it out....

Nice to see someone teaching traditional automotive skills. As a former teacher, that looks like a dream job you've got there!

Dan, Looks like you have a full plate at your shop. Teaching is a noble profession and you get to teach what you love. Keep up the great work. There should be more programs like your's across the nation.

Good for you for teaching some good old fashioned skills. It seems everything today involves a computer and the hands on techniques are in short supply.

Robert Jam - good to hear from you! I visit with Trent quite a bit!
The cars belong to the students, belong to people we are working on them for and a couple belong to me. My cars are worked on when a student doesnt have a project of their own to work on.

  11. I am looking to go to a tech school when I get back from being overseas. Is it accredited? Because I am a Canadian and cannot attend a school that is not accredited.

    Dan,

Nice blog, good to hear from you. I went to snotty private schools in Seattle, no tech cl***es at all, they must have expected us all to become rich doctors and lawyers!

You need to get to Billings this "spring".

Are you still smoke jumping in the summer?

I sure wish I was able to attend a school like that. I'm sure it would have made a big difference in staying in school and just staying interested in learning in general. Your students are very lucky to have you and that program available to them.
