Stuff happens. If you own a neat car PLEASE read the article linked below. It's from the April 2010 edition of "Sportscar Market" www.sportscarmarket.com and discusses - from the Russo & Steele auction windstorm incident - who MAY owe what to whom. A good discussion of the issues and VERY GOOD advice for neat car owners. Here's the link: http://http://www.sportscarmarket.com/Legal-Files/2010/April/
Hard to believe some of those collector cars didn't have insurance. I went for a few months without it during my rebuild and thought I was dumb for waiting. Sad situation for all involved.
Wonder of any of the customer cars in Jason's shop were insured when it burned. Makes one think twice about insuring projects.
if it's worth anything to you, or can't be replaced without a layout of cash you can't come up with; insure it. all cars and parts in my shop are insured by the owners or they are at risk. my shop liability policy only covers the building and equipment.
WOW Im glad I read that.Thats the kind of stuff I like knowing. Now Im going to go read my policy again.............
