  7. Slim I spoke with the guy that had his club jacket draped over the stewering wheel of his 1950 Merc with Caddy power. That was his club from 59 -61 and he drove a caddy powered 50 Ford back than. Things like that make this hobby/lifestyle the best

Richard, it was WONDERUL meeting you. I enjoyed chatting with you and getting to know you better. Looking ofrward to the next time we can get together.

We sure had some fun hanging out together. Mike even invited me to visit the shop in California where he is building his 2011 Ridler contender.

I'm the female version of George Barris......you weren't complaining this weekend. :D

Thanks for giving me the "heads-up" about this outstanding thread... It appears from the many groovy photos posted, that this was an incredible assembly of hot roddin' machinery... Lots of "jaw droppin' rides to feast the eyes and warm the soul... It's really a treat when you can take the time to thoroughly walk around and absorb all the eye candy that was obviously present at this event... I recognize some of the cars, some of them I've been fortunate enough to see at various races and show events, but there's also a lot of them that I have never had the pleasure to see and study in person, so I greatly appreciate gettin' to see 'em here on these colorful cyber pages... Thanks so much for sharing with the H.A.M.B. community... "The Doc" (Celebrity Drag Racing Authority & Visionary)...
