  2. Ford, Club Coupe. Th whole panel was just over an inch too narrow and none of the body lines that curved up beside the boot (Trunk) lined up.
Don't worry, I'm not pissed off or complaining, being an Aussy built car its probably different.:D

yeah thats great that you're making it here, but am I the only one that thinks these panels don't fit for nothing. When I pay more money for a better fit than Chinese, I don't want to have to re-create the wheel. Perfect example: '41-'46 Ford Coupe lower front qtr panels, the jam area radius was so bad I cut it off an made my own, it was a joke. I think one area that needs improvement is your quality control, I mean really, who's the one that says,"yeah, that will do just fine, Start stamping them out!, the customer can fix it if he wants with bondo!", and we get screwed out of labor trying fix your ****, and you make the profit.

If you're on here to promote your company, and the fact that your made in the USA, then it needs to be better, Seriously.

You must not be charging by the hour. This is specialty/skilled work and as such you should be getting paid for every hour you put into a project. Time spent is time spent, if your not billing for it that's your fault.

  5. I feel compelled to say Something here being I have used there pieces on a few projects. What I know is that home builders have a different level of expectations than a metal worker, restoration guy. I fit in the latter group. In all fairness most of there pieces must be pretty good or the Co. would not still be around. Several years back I used there rear Quarter and front rockers on a customers 57 Ranchero. That job went pretty well. Just last year I used there lower front fender patches on my 57 Fairlane. If you want a Blow by Blow with photos do a search. Those repairs didn't go so well.
Bottom line is I'm glad to have them around for the most part. It's good to see someone Expanding in today's economy. Generally things get better with time. Every repair job needs parts to start with. It's your own level of Talent that dictates how well it turns out.
    Best wishes to E.M.S.

the tooling was corrected to make a better door jamb area, we do here the comments from customers, sometimes it takes awhile to solve the problem and in the cause of the 41-48 ford the door jamb with the bump out on the bottom was a chore to solve. we inncurred the addtional cost and processing with out raising the price.

I bought all the repair panels for the bottom of my 40 chevy 2 dr . The panels did require some rework (curve of rocker to your inner door frames ) but i feel all in all quality was good . Thanks for the good work Ed

I used EMS Panels all over my '35-while I had to change the curvature (with an English Wheel) of one Panel (1/4), evrything else fit great-I'm not so sure that the fitting problem wasn't already there from Henry's Factory, so I think your product is great-by the way, I used the full Floorpan,Turnk kit, rear Pan, both 1/4's, Door bottoms and cowl patches, and like I said, everything fit fine-

do you let your workers use your equipment on there own time, say one wanted to make some box sides or a tailgate, would they be able to?

  15. Understand supply and demand, but you will be seeing a lot more in the future. also you need to work on the P-15, P-19, P-20 Plymouth and the D-24 and so on in the Dodge line. i would say from around 46- 54 they are the one most popping up.

A steel '34 Chevy Master tail pan would be a great addition to the EMS line up...all we have to choose from is fibergl***....**HINT**

fyi: It has 14 ft deep pit (ba*****t) to handle the base that is under floor level, notice how the bolster plate is ground leval so there is alot more machine underground.

Understood, and I do charge by the hr, but should we really have to modify everything to fit right, even on a silly patch panel? Also, trying to explain to a customer that purchases these panels, thinking they're the best and fit better.. is sometimes difficult.
I guess what I'm trying to say is..if your going to all the trouble and expense to reproduce a part, make it *****in, right?

the guys do get to work on stuff, race and drag cars are the addiciton of choice, but if they can not sell any they make, but it would be in the fabrication dept.
