History Vintage Child's Car Seat

I need help getting information on a car seat that I found in the back seat of a 1929 Model A we purchased. Any links or possible feedback as to what era and how much it could be worth.

Can't be worth much, in order to use one today it needs to meet current federal standards.

 

They come up once in a while on that huge e-auction site. You can do an 'advanced search' there for closed listings. That will tell you if any sold recently, and if so, for how much.
