OK call enlighten me on this as I snared off eBay a upper ball joint repair kit for my 62 ThunderSqawk made by JAMCO (self-lubricating). I worked a lot of years at Rollie's Gulf on 29th and Central NE Minneapolis and did everything from relign brake shoes to complete alignment and everthing in between including pumping gas (only your hair dresser and gas staition attendant know) and I have never seen one of these. My uppers are loose and if this works it will save a ton of bucks. Any one had any experiance with these?

I most likely will replace them but what the hoot, made by a reputable company. I am trying to figure out how to get around the Ford joints as they are spendy for the uppers.

  4. These are the ones that are about 600 clams for the joint, right?? This may be a part from "back in the day", where things were repaired rather than replaced.

Give it a try, what have you to lose?? I mean, the joint has to be fixed, and you have this part, soooooooo...........

Worst case, you have to buy the joint complete.
