  4. The body looks great,,amazing how much progress can be made when not having to address a lot of rust,,

The copper color will really make the ol' '54 stand out in a crowd. HRP

    Lookin good brother!

  6. Just got a first look at the color in the sunlight today - I'm stoked with the way it's gonna turn out. The pics above don't do the color justice. I'll try to post better ones over the weekend.

  7. That's the same way my '54 wagon was painted,,not color but interior pieces first,,,looking great,,please post more photos as you progress. HRP

  9. Busy weekend. We got the Roof pearled and jambs done. Couple coats of base on the car. Next we will reassemble and and put on a couple more base coats then clear everything. Should be real pretty by the end of the week!!! :D

What ya Think?? Am I on the right track???

Holy crap!!! Yeah, I would say you're on the right track- that looks gorgeous! What product are you using? If you keep doing the same thing you have been doing, I think you will have one slick looking ride when you're done. Good job.

  11. Looking good, hermano!

  12. Thanks skoh,
    My painter uses RM products.
It was your Photoshop of my car that really got me going on this thing. You did it on the "Photoshop" thread a few months back.
    Thanks for the inspiration.

I can't wait to hang the chrome and stainless on it and roll it out into the sun.
The color looks so much better in natural light. The lights in the spray booth make everything look funky.
    More later...

Woooo doggie- that looks gorgeous! I don't know how I missed the post, but I had no idea that my photoshop was involved in any of this- that's great! It's really flattering, and great to finally see somebody's finished product.

I can't wait to see it in natural light. Great Work!

    Thats really looking good.

  20. Thanks, James D

It was some photoshops that you, Skoh73 and pro1street did that got the whole thing started. (page 111,112 and 134 of the photoshop thread).

You guys really got me motivated and gave me direction on the build - PRICELESS.

    Thanks again,
    Dave
