If only there were an online auction site where by typing in what one wanted in a search bar, hundreds of that exact item would magically appear, and one could bid to buy for whatever ridiculously low price one wanted to pay. If only such a site existed...

I'm just wondering where that guy lives that they get blue fog. That's some kind of weird weather phenomena, eh?

I have a set of 3" blue "fog" lights that are going on my 42'. As explained to me, they are blackout lights from WWII.

I think I'd have to question any fog lights being blue. The reason being, most states have a law on their motor vehicle books that says, no lights other than clear, (headlights) or amber (fog or turn signals) may be visable from the front.

Ever notice, even the truckers running lights are amber from the front?

It used to be, a flashing red was a emergency vehicle, a flashing amber was a service vehicle, like a tow truck. a blue or flashing blue, was a vehicle like a state or city snow plow type of vehicle.

On yours da34guy I wonder if at one time there might have been a flasher unit in the wiring so that it would flash, therefor could have been used in the front of some vehicle, rather than a steady blue?????

I have an excellent Unity 5" light with a red lense that I would sell. Thought it was for a fire truck?

Round "fog lights" should be easy to find on ebay. Blue lenses can be found there also. Elliptical ones like used on 20's 30's police cars are very hard to find but do pop up. Like above post legal issues do exist in many states of the U.S. and maybe Europe also about blue lights to the front and the back. If they are not wired to work that may allow them. Sirens the same issues exist.

You could probably make some money if you could develop something like that....

As for the blue light.. I had a friend who painted the headlights in his 2000 somethin' Monte Carlo.. The actual bulbs blue.. Looked sweet 'til they warmed up..

Haha, I actually got popped for this around 20 yrs. ago. Picked up a
KZ 1000 police bike at an auction for $300 and filled the holes in the fairing
where they had removed the police lights with a red and blue lenses from
some christmas decorations that fit great. He was kind of a **** about it
and even showed me the statute. I pointed out that there were NO lights,
only colored covers over the holes. I got out of the ticket but he
promised to stop me everytime he saw me"just to check". Soon after
some dwarf car racer offered double what I had in it for the engine so
I never had the chance to run into the trooper again.

Tedd's Vtwin manufacturing. Click on the link and type in page number 1064, it will open an adobe file that contains that page out of their Harley Davidson accessory/restoration book. Part number, 33-0976, is two blue lenses for 4.5" housings for $66.50, you can also get chrome housings from them too. They were originally used in early HD flatheads for a police lights, I think that maybe the easiest to find, they also have amber and red.
