I have a BW T10 that I want to put behind the 352. I was curious if the 4 speed equipped cars had anything different about the trans tunnel. I see Crites has fiberglass trans tunnels, but every 4 speed 62 I've seen looks pretty much like mine. Other than the hole, what else needs to be done?
The hole should be the only thing you have to do. The Cruis-o's were big chunks of cast iron, larger than the T10 I believe. You may have to modify your trans mount though.
It has a T 85 3 speed in it, now. I think they're similar externally. Go ahead and correct if I'm wrong.
i think the rubber mount has to be turned 180 deg... driveshaft might be smaller on the 3sd.(not 100% sure).
