can't seem to identify this car

    ive narrowed it down to a Chevy Buick olds Pontiac product late 30s early 40s???

    whats getting me is where the tail lights are mounted and the trunk lid hinge. can't seem to find any perfect matches.

    anyone have an idea on what this is?

    That burl on the tree trunk is worth more $$$ than the car.

    looking at the lower portion of the doors looks like 1948 desoto

    I think Ornery got it, '46-48 Desoto. Take cap'n Freedom's advice, forget the car and get the burl.

    Looks like a 1940 Plymouth sedan.
