Since Mopar copied the Hemi head, torsion bar suspension and unibody from the British are Mopars really secret anglophils?

I like all sorts of unusual motors, Haven't given much thought to Y block Fords but at least it's not a small block chevy.. That makes it unique and worthwhile in my humble opinion..
Actualy there really isn't anything wrong with small block chevies, good motors well designed, efficent, and inexpensive.
Their single flaw is it's like a belly button, everybody has one..

I may have seen it in the past. Can't remember the details. Seems like it had Alfin drums and wire wheels if my memory isn't too far off. I own the BLACK JACK SPECIAL. 1958 home made "D" type based on an XK 150 chassis.
I also have one of a few XKE V12 roadster race cars. (not really suitable for this club but I've taken molds from it and will be ICE racing one next winter.. Don't worry No XK-E will be harmed doing this.. Using sedan front and rear suspension, own frame and carbon fiber body.)

I enjoy wrenching on my stuff. Have enough equipment to do a decent job but I really don't want to do much painting anymore. I've got all sorts of spray guns and used to do a decent paint job but I've really lost interest since it takes so long to do a great paint job, and no matter how great the paint job it doesn't go any faster!
I love the idea behind old school rods.. make something with what you have and presumably make it really fast.

How about "Old Kook" w/a bunch of uselsess old British parts?
Didn't the French make a tank w/ 1 forward speed & 4 reverse or was that the Italians?

RELAX! I'm just kidding, I'm just a dirty Polock myself! (we fought tanks w/horses for gods sake!)
That ice racing in a V12 Jag sounds pretty cool, that I would like to see!

    Sincerly,

    Err, no.
Poms are Poms. Whether they came here from England or still live there, they will always be called Poms. I myself was called a WOG {another term for dago} or someone who comes from Europe.

    Welcome.
