When i was up in Thunder bay Canada last september picking up my 32 five window from my friend Cale Wilson he told me about a 32 fordor old hot rod his buddy had, we ended up running out of time and never had a chance to look at it, so i ended up emailing him a bit and worked out a deal to buy it from him, hes on the hamb as "hapydz" Ron Limbrick is his name, he bought the car a few years back out of London Ontario and the car was supose to have been from Owen Sound Ontario, its got a 32 heavy mor drop axle in her, 55 ish cadi wires, chrome garnish mouldings, black nagahyde interior, it had a 394 olds with a hyrdo behind it in it, it also had 2x4's on the motor, over all the body is still in pretty good shape, the frame needs a redo, but im gonna try and retain as much of it as possible. so basically im gonna pull the body off, clean the body the best i can and redo the ch***is and put the body right back in place. im gonna put an olds back in her but more than likly a runner 324 that i have and probably a lasalle trans also.

So yesterday morning we left St Paul and drove the 6 hours to thunder bay Canada and picked up the car, then we stayed over night at Cales house and this moring we left and drove the 6 hours back home.

Does anyone from the London or Owen Sound Ontario area remember the car? let me know if you do.

    Awesome project Jeff.
32 fordors sure have some nice lines to them.
Glad to see your leaving it as is...much as you can safely anyway.

That is odd, I bought this 32 out of Owen Sound Ont. last November. Sorry I dont know anything about yours except it looks like a good one, I might have to go back up that way and do a little more sniffing around they seemed to have liked 32s around there. It is only 2 hours from my house. Good Luck with your build. Larry

I'd swear the photos you post, there is no engine in it...Maybe my old eyes are shot, but it looks like that header still showing fits a small block chev...dont look like any Olds I've seen.Correct me if I'm blind...

Look at the header flange again....the bolt holes are above and below the tubes...not next to them like a Chevy.

Neat car...I think I've seen that car advertized. And I agree about the wood grained dash...that is awesome. ;) I do see some nice gauges though...

It did definatly have an olds in it, i have the chrome 5 bolt 394 type covers that were in the back seat and the olds mallory dual point.

it had 47 60 and 71 plates in the car also

and check out the shifter, its for a hydro i think, anyone recognize it?

the car was supose to be from Owen Sound way back, it was bought out of
Londen a few years back, and brought back to thunder bay, now to mn.

I think they all looked like cheapys back then, this is probably a late 50's shifter, definatly a factory made shifter of some sort.

It acually was really easy, when i went into canada, they just asked what i was doing, i said "purchasing a car and visiting with some freinds" ...answer "have a nice day"

i think the biggist thing is its gotta have a clear ***le and vin, we got to the boarder, they had us pull in and stop, we went in a filled out an import sheet, they came out and verified the vin and said "have a nice day" i said thanks and on our way we went.

basically just dont ******** em, tell em the truth, be honest and you wont have a problem, just be nice, listen to what they have to say, obay etc etc.

heres a few more pics of it. i got the inside pretty cleaned up of mouse nests weeds and **** and dirt, it cleaned up alright, the threads are tearing in the seat cover but i hope it will stay together for a while, the chrome garnish cleaned up ok, there pits etc but they are still bad ***, i hate the woodgrain in the dash, ill probably pull the dash out and have it plated, but not do the best job on the plating, i dont want to change a ton, or make it to nice, just help the aesthetics, and tidy up stuff, i cleaned out the rats nest wiring etc etc.

I like the idea of it being a six wheeler. Pretty rare option on the Deuce. I did not want them on my Sport coupe but on a full fendered 4dr sedan I think they'd look pretty spiffy.:D
