The gay guy is the detective in CHRISTINE!!! Harry Dean Stanton

 

He's good actor Warren Oates. I just got the old 1973 flick "Dillinger" and that was a real good movie too. His acting is what makes 2 lane Black Top worth seeing every time. Other than that its pretty much a silent movie with the whining sounds of a rock crusher! 2 lane is my all time favorite car movie! You can tell him that.

 

I have Two Lane on DVD. And on the DVD with all of the extras, they talk to the director and James Taylor and some of the other people. The funny thing is that Henry Dean Stanton did not know that his part involved the gay scene. He was pretty upset and initially refused to do it, until they threatened to not pay him for coming out for the filming. Pretty funny.

 

I always thought a GTO made you act like that.It does mean Garbage Truck Option doesn't it?
