Paint inquiry: Anybody see this paint color on old Rods?

    It has been confirmed, it is Hot Rod Flatz OD green, the feature lines and louvers are untouched, but the rest of the car has been scuffed with scotch brite to flatten the look.

    Thanks MUCH jdubbya....Now I KNOW what it will look like knowing the actual paint AND when it's scuffed up! Not a bad days work to find out what I needed to know...you guys are too cool here. Thanks again....all!

    Thank you boston. This was my fist rod build. I had three old school rod coaches and HAMB to keep me on track! I do love the color and the olive/brown too.

  6. That car in the original post is my buddy Marvins car. As mentioned above, Scotchbrited Flatz. I love the way he left the body lines unscuffed - gives neat effect.

    And yes, That car is as cool as it looks in the picture. Marv built/fabbed everything himself in a two-car garage. Including paint and interior. That man has mad talent!!
