Well, I asked a while back for opinions and locations in case I went with Supremes and pinner whites on my convertible. I guess you can say I made my decision. Also had the hood nosed and peaked. Thanks to you guys who leaned towards the Supremes. I think it was a good choice, no? Dom
Yep, great choice. The car looks fantastic. I can say too that I really miss large lawns and trees. I'm missing the Northeast right now.
Thats a great looking car regardless of what wheels used. I do like the thin whites and Supremes though.
Nice choice very 60's look, I have them on my 62 Mercury Monterey. What manufacture did you go with ? I have the Cragar/Unique's on my car very happy with them. Most important is that you like it, which it sounds you do ! Thumbs up !
My other car, the 52 Hard Top is the more traditional ride. This car sort of went in it's own direction. The green color got me to the Pearl white inside. It looked like a 60s ride, so, I went with it. I did the wide whites and Caddy caps already. I feel good about this one. Ya never know, it could change some day. But for now, I'm likin it! By the way, I went with the US Wheel Supremes. Got them from Summit. I know there are concerns with the welding. The spokes are not welded to the rim. They are welded to a plate which is welded to the rim. Dom
Looks great! I was looking into Supremes but I can't find them in a 5.5" BC. I think the closest I can get is with a Cragar or American 5 spoke. Nice green. Does it have a little pearl in it?
That was i wass thinking when i saw it too. Thought Diana Ross had been in his town!!! Good looking ride, i like the wheels.
Hey Erik, yes it does have some pearl. About the doo wop, the wife, me and a couple of friends went to small dive last night and checked out George Baker. He is an older blues player with some history from the 50s, 60s. I'm no dancer but man he gets me moving and dancing like a fool. Gets you drinking too much too! I'll leave Dianna! Dom
Naa they look great. NOT to Cragar SS and not to Donk. Subtle, which is always beautiful I agree, that green is really sweet.
