appleton 112 and 552

hi i'm new to the hamb. have been a hot rodder for 50 years (i'm 71)
grew up in the los angeles area when the custom car was the in thing.
i had a one man upholstrey shop, my full time job was a fire fighter. i also
have certificates for auto body and paint as well. much more.
my question is what years were appleton 112's,552's made? i would like to get
a catalog. my friend and i have a small collection,25 to 30 between us.

welcome...hard to say the years on Appleton 112s and 552s, but your best bet would be to search some of the posts that have been created for them on here. Rikster and Wolf (tinwolf) are very well versed in that realm and can clue you in. I have a small collection myself and am always looking for bits and pieces. 51 mercules thanks, but custom, as in modified car was not spelled with "K"
during the '40's and early '50's. not sure when that came in to use.
any help about dates?
