Wrecked my truck yesterday on the ride home from work. Drove the 65 Falcon in today. Man it ****ed with no heat. I guess it could be worse though if I drove the coupe with no gl*** in it. Oh well I needed to blow the ole falcon out.
I drive the Hupp everyday, rain or shine. Starts first time every time. Even with a morning temp of 17f like yesterday.
most of you probably wouldn't consider skateboarding a "real" job, but this is what i take to the skate spots some times and in Norcal it's a nice sunny day take her out to the local skatepark and go practice today CAB

Lots of memories in that car, no not ***ual just lots of racing down the 55 FWY and car shows car still looks good!
Mine's no rod, more of a land yacht, but it sure looks funny parked between a bunch of econoboxes and SUVs. I've been recently stress testing for a vegas trip, if something breaks it may as well on the way to work. (any excuse to be late ) I've logged about 600 miles the last month and am averaging 13mpg in highway rush hour traffic. Not bad for a 430... I never drive it this much.

[/ QUOTE ] Thanks... it runs good too The 3-Deuce offy we added looks even sweeter and It's only going to get better in time by adding a few things here and there and clean it up a bit! Now it races down the 101, 280 and 880 ( hwy17) from time to time. CAB
Not a rod, but I drive the Galaxie everyday rain or shine. Cab - i wish I had that full time job. I bet people flip when you get out of that at the park to skate.. I bet you will influence at least one skater to build a rod, just by driving that coupe..
Jobcorp, wanna trade?! I love that ride! Yep, I drive mine every day. Like most of you it's my daily and I keep Rain-X in the glove box!
Driven to work daily, but today I drove it to the chiropractor & physical therepist. That still counts though, right? It's the best part of any day.. the drive that is! Bil
I hae to admit I've been driving an off topic car more lately, but I did drive the '57 Chevy one day this week. It was fun.
[ QUOTE ] Well, here in Oz anyway ( Melbourne ) its a lovely day! so what better time to take your rod out and play with it So who did drive to work today?? Man nothing like beating the go slow by doing so in your fav ride!! hes a pic of the offending roadster... [/ QUOTE ] nice roadster but is that your BMW i see in the foreground? let me see a pic of that
Drove my coupe to school today, like I do almost every day. Not the only way to go, but the way I like best (in a hot rod, that is).
Yes I did, as "someone" said recently hot rods are better than anything else in life or something like that. It sure makes the trip to work better. I drive it every chance I get.
Hey snotonnorton, thats not my bimmer, thats Rats, he took that photo outside his place, hes the gold chainer not me my daily ride is this pos, 71 falcon yooot. been in the family since 73 stole it off the old man when he had finished with it on the farm. poor ol' girl needs some luvin.. cant see it all, but this is the only photo I have at the moment, dont tend to take pics of the daily drivers..
Mine's parked at 'work' (who me???) everyday. After the 100' commute, I decided that by the time I got into the car, started it, then shut it off, got out and walked to the door of the office, that I'd be just as well off to leave it parked here. I'm jealous of anyone with a '32 roadster, not that that phrase has anything to do with what we're talking about here, I just couldn't contain it any longer. -slacker
I drove mine today to make a delivery and pick up some kerosene for the shop heaters. It was a warm 40 degrees by noon today.
