cushman/hd for cowl steer ???

    y'all think a man could use a third member from an old golf cart ect. for a shroader style cowl steering set up or would the diff. ratio's be way wrong? hey, i'm cheap and broke. any ideas?? thanx.:confused:

    Seems the backlash would be a bit much. That could be reduced, get rid of the dif unit, make a spool... Heck give it a try.

    many years ago on the old super modified {*****er} circle track cars a crosley rear end was used for a cowl stearing box.. Go to miss chicken #34 and one is talked about on a race car restoration.. bobby..

    thanx y'all, went and looked at the diff in question today. seemed to be doable in theory by input, i uderstand eliminating any slip ect.thanx. think i'll give it a spin!
