anyone out there what causes a th350 tranny to leak out the small hole in the driveshaft yoke? I've got two of them in my cars doing the same thing. someone said perhaps a stopped vent, but where's the vent at? thanks, Bob

The vent is on the very top center of the case. There is not much keeping it from leaking at the yoke besides worn splines on the tailshaft and slip yoke.

Take the yoke off the driveshaft. You will see a cap or plug inside of the yoke. Clean it really good and mix up some jb weld and cover the entire plug. You can use a heat gun to accelerate the jb weld to dry. I fixxed couple this way with the problems.

could be missing the O ring (and holder) on the output shaft. Some yokes have an open vent hole, and the transmission has a funky metal collar with an O ring in it that seals the yoke to the output shaft. If you have the vented yoke, and missing the collar or O ring, it will leak.
