Here's a quickie! Matt and I got the Legion Special back on four wheels. They're not the wheels or tires it will end up with (look for black 17" wires and Excelsior Comp Vs), but it needed to roll onto the trailer to head to the upholstery shop TODAY! The rake is correct, but the actual wheels and tires will be another 2" taller. We wanted to have the nose and belly pan last more than the first mile.

It should be leather-clad when I get back from Scottsdale on Monday!!!!

CHECK BELOW FOR A SEAT SNEAK PEEK!

I know, I always like stuff in bare metal, there just seems to be more potential, but it had to get painted.

  11. Not even half done and its got a killer look to it, I think once again you nailed a build firmly in the perfection end of the spectrum.
Awesome dude, keep up the great work.

Next week should be really productive. Matt got the car to the upholstery shop yesterday and it will be back on Friday. I get back from Scottsdale on Monday and should be picking up the powdercoated 17" wires and the Excelsiors should be in. So, TLS should be rolling on its real setup.

Then it's mostly just wiring, plumbing and re***embly!

So are you changing up the Wide-fives out front, then? Wires will be very cool!

Oooohhhh, the upholstery is underway! It's kind of funny that Matt had to explain to the upholstery guy that we were fine with the parts of the leather hide that had "character". The funkier the better. As long as there's not a hole....run it! The back of the seat is vinyl to make sure we don't run out of leather.

I'm not sure if this means that Ralph likes it or is looking to kill his lunch.

That brown leather is perfect! I hope to have something very similar in my '32 one day.
